- If you get your policy closed within 30 days of getting the insurance policy paper, then your money will be refunded. Which is also called free look period.
- Different company’s free look periods may be different. Some may have 20 days; some may have 15 days and some may even have 30 days.
- In many policies of SBI, the free look period is 15 days and in some, it is also 30 days. You should check this thing while taking the policy.
- And if you close your insurance policy after the free look period then you will not get all your money back. Very few service charges will be deducted from you.
- Money will be returned to you within 10 to 15 days. You can get the money transferred to your bank account.
